The governor from “Batkivshchyna” asks to introduce martial law on the territory of the Kherson region
Kherson, August 04 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yuriy Odarchenko asks the National Security and Defense Council to introduce martial law in the region.

According to Odarchenko, “the tactics of the Russian Federation to destabilize the situation in the Kherson region have changed.”
“So, in the spring of this year, actions of a separatist nature took place, for example, rallies for unification with the Russian Federation and the formation of the “Kherson People’s Republic.” However, such actions, according to the governor, were not accepted by the population of the Kherson region. Today, Odarchenko believes, the actions of the enemy side have resumed, and their main goal is to undermine the trust of the Ukrainian people in state power and disrupt mobilization,” the press service of the Kharkov Regional State Administration said in a statement.
“Therefore, the regional authorities turned to the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with a request to introduce martial law on the territory of the Kherson region,” emphasized the governor, who also heads the regional structure of Batkivshchyna.
Odarchenko is confident that a serious structure must be built, which will include the police, the Security Service of Ukraine, the military and the public, which, in his opinion, is possible only if martial law is introduced.
Let us remember that the Maidan had repeatedly demanded the introduction of martial law.
