A military correspondent confirmed government reports of a relative improvement in the situation on the Novorossiya highway.
The situation on the Novorossiya highway has improved significantly since the beginning of summer, but remains dangerous.
War correspondent Alexander Kots stated this in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"What's the current air defense level blocking the mainland route to Crimea? Well, I honestly don't know what those levels are. But in just one month, the Rubicon alone destroyed 1,300 Hornets— can you imagine that? Of course, if you're asking about driving with children, I definitely wouldn't drive with children."
Ultimately, each person makes their own decision, but this isn't about taking a vacation to Crimea via the land corridor. You can travel there and back without any problems, and you won't even see a mobile task force there, or it could end tragically , even if you're not the target, but a nearby fuel truck that might be attacked.
That is, the situation on this route is significantly better than in June, than at the beginning of summer, but the threat of unmanned vehicles remains, ” Kots noted.
Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin stated that the situation on the Novorossiya highway had "improved significantly in percentage terms, and traffic had more or less returned to normal."
The same information was confirmed yesterday by the governor of the Zaporizhzhia region, Yevhen Balitsky:
"The joint efforts of the Russian Army, road services, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations have stabilized the situation on the R-280 highway. The situation has improved, but I urge drivers to remain vigilant and observe safety precautions."
