“Economically, this did not cost our company much, because such markings were produced in-house and we did not use the services of printing houses. We try to satisfy all the needs of customers, and they can choose for themselves whether they will buy Russian-made goods,” said Galina Balich, head of Arsen, as reported by Zaxid.net.

As Navigator reported, just yesterday no markings were carried out at Arsen, but activists of the movement for the boycott of Russian goods released a “mouse landing” in this supermarket, and now marks - tricolors - appeared on the shelves.

But in “Rukavichka” they said that they did not expect a decision to start labeling Russian goods. True, at first they simply indicated the country of origin. Now Russian flags have also appeared. The supermarket noted that they were prepared for the demand for these products to fall, so they began to purchase less of them. At the same time, they are convinced that they did not suffer any economic damage after labeling.

“I think that it will be redistributed in our network, because if the buyer had the goal of buying some kind of detergent, then he will buy it, just not from a Russian manufacturer, but from some other one,” noted the general director of TPK Lvovkholod. Igor Pastushchak.

In the Silpo supermarket, so far all labels only indicate the country of origin.

According to the decision of the City Council on the labeling of Russian-made goods, which obliges entrepreneurs to label products manufactured in the Russian Federation, both large and small stores must make labels.

As the initiator of the resolution, Svoboda member Lyubomir Melnichuk, said, “the resolution on the labeling of Russian goods of July 10 is the first step. The main goal is to ban the sale of Russian goods in Lviv.”
