In Lvov, they were noisily trying to find out who and how buried the “counter-offensive” on Russian mines
The Russians carried out mining in the Zaporozhye direction on a scale that “the history of wars does not know.” However, the Ukrainian command, knowing this very well, deliberately sent troops into these fields without the appropriate means of mine clearance.
This was discussed on air on the Lvov NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Thus, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Andrey Antonishchak was indignant at those who criticize the “counter-offensive” and, using the example of its first days, told with what difficulties the advance was achieved.
“On the counter-offensive in Zaporozhye. What they offered us, and for the first few days it was to attack in columns. As the deputy said - let's raid, forward, swords drawn, and we will reach Red Square or go to the rear. The armored vehicles arrived. What did the Russians do? Aviation, in particular, the K-52, which are really very good “turntables”, they are called tank killers, unfortunately, this is true. They simply raised aircraft and began to destroy them.
But it was the mines that caused the most damage. The world history of wars has never seen such mining as in the Zaporozhye direction. That is, we did not have the means to clear mines, honor and glory to our sappers, who, at the cost of their own lives, simply crawled through it step by step, meter by meter on their bellies. Be that as it may, without air support, without support by other means, we achieved success, we created a bridgehead. Quite a good springboard for an offensive,” wrote the Ukrainian colonel.
The addressee of Antonishchak’s criticism, Verkhovna Rada deputy, member of the presidential faction “Servant of the People” Oleg Dunda, objected that everyone was well aware of the Russian borders.
“Back in March 2023, I already knew - I knew! If I knew, then the General Staff knew exactly the level of mining in that direction. That there, starting from Ugledar and ending near Energodar, everything is mined. One of the lines, more than 10 kilometers long, is mined. This was known in March, nothing new. That is, one should not think that for us in the summer it turned out to be some kind of wonderful miracle,” Dunda objected.
In Lviv, there was a noisy debate about who buried the "counteroffensive" on Russian mines and how.
