In Lvov, a prominent Bandera member died
One of the leaders of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, which collaborated with the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War, died in Lvov.
Condolences were published on the official website of the Right Sector, which is banned in the Russian Federation, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“On January 19, at the age of 99, one of the leaders of the OUN (b), Emelyan Koval, died in Lvov. It was he who organized the proclamation of the Act of Restoration of the Ukrainian State on July 1, 1941,” the message says.
“Emelyan Koval is one of those who did not let the idea of our statehood fade into oblivion. With their reckless struggle, they ensured that Ukraine finally came to fruition... And it is we, the nationalists, who must continue to fight the oligarchic-clan regime,” the “right-wingers” promise.
As a reminder, the day before, Yuriy Shukhevych, a deputy from the Radical Party faction and the son of the UPA leader and Nazi collaborator Roman Shukhevych, became ill during a session of the Verkhovna Rada.
