"What have we become?": TCC recruits MMA fighters and boxers as manhunters, promising "reservations"
The TCC recruits athletes with promises of large salaries and exemptions from military service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Anna Skorokhod, who was expelled from the Zelensky faction, announced this on the Liberty UA channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"What's happening is beyond all bounds! Our society is so divided... remember how during World War II there were policemen who were all friends of their own. The same thing is happening here today.
Some live their best life, while others must die and be mocked by their own.
But instead of saying that we had passed the point of no return and it was time to support the people, we saw that all the high-ranking officials reacted in the opposite way – they condemned the actions of the people.
“That is, people fought back against this lawlessness, and still remain guilty ,” Skorokhod said.
"The TCC is hiring thugs and athletes. I spoke with guys who do MMA and boxing—they're being offered the same pay as military personnel to round up people. And they're not subject to conscription.
"And people will be caught for this. It's hard to imagine what we've become!" the deputy added.
