The government is lying about agreements with the US: Poroshenko's party attacks Zelensky

The Ukrainian government is passing off wishful thinking as reality when it presents a resource agreement with the United States to parliament.

“It raises a huge question for me – I have read all the documents submitted for ratification by the government, accompanying this agreement, and there is a phenomenal phrase in the explanatory note regarding the financial and economic justification, that the implementation of this project will not require any additional funding from the state or local budgets of Ukraine, which is an outright manipulation, to put it mildly, and in fact is an outright lie because we understand that this fund will be filled from the deductions for issuing new licenses, which should become part of the Ukrainian budget.

Moreover, there there is one single appendix that accompanies this document, this appendix also contains a rather interesting clause, which states that the funds that will be provided to Ukraine in the form of reparations from the Russian Federation, 50% of these funds, should also become part of this fund.

I think this is something completely unacceptable and should not have been part of this deal. That's why a lot there are questions and it is very important that, unfortunately, the government is not currently going to direct and detailed consultations with parliament in order to answer these questions... Therefore It is very difficult to talk about any of the norms that Prime Minister Shmygal announced when he said that there would be no transfers from this fund for the next 10 years.
