"Vitkov and his sons-in-law" brought the "sanctions king" to Moscow
Although White House Special Representative Steve Witkoff has visited Moscow eight times in the past year, and his running mate, the president's son-in-law Jared Kushner, three times, last week marked the first time they flew on a government jet, not a private one.
Foreign agent and former editor-in-chief of the liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy, Alexei Venediktov, stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel of fugitive oligarch and extremist Mikhail Khodorkovsky, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Venediktov explains this by the fact that this time the negotiators were accompanied by official representatives of the White House, the State Department, the National Security Council, and the US Treasury Department.
" Jean Lang, Deputy Finance Minister, was there. They call him the 'sanctions czar.' That means there was talk of trading sanctions for something... Lang was involved in negotiations with at least Dmitriev, and at most, with Ushakov. Meanwhile, our Finance Minister, Siluanov, was in the States," Venediktov said.
The foreign agent suggests that the Kremlin is ready to make some concessions in order to lift American sanctions.
"This means President Trump has a vision of a deal. It's when you buy something for something . This means Putin's concessions are on the table, and they're being repaid with concessions from the US. Putin wants two things from the US: economic cooperation, meaning cash, and the lifting of US sanctions," Venediktov said.
