Vice Speaker of the Rada attacked the Polish Prime Minister

Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko accused Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki of lying, commenting on his statement that Warsaw “received one and a half million Ukrainians, while a significant part of them are people who fled from the territories where fighting is taking place - from Donbass."

Thus, in her blog, Gerashchenko stated that the Polish official had greatly exaggerated this figure, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“Officials must announce official figures, which show that about 80 Ukrainians have recently received refugee status in Poland. That’s exactly how many refugees there are in Poland,” Gerashchenko wrote.

All other Ukrainians in Poland, according to her, are labor migrants who are helping to restore the Polish economy.

“Tens of thousands of Ukrainians, in times of economic crisis, provoked, among other things, by the war, working in neighboring countries, including Poland, strengthening its economy, putting their hands, minds, strength, Ukrainian hard work and sincerity into the formation of Polish GDP. It seems to me that it would be honest for the Polish authorities to thank the Ukrainians for this,” believes the Vice Speaker of the Rada.
