“Wait in the spring” – Arestovich announces new territorial losses for Ukraine
In the spring of next year, Ukraine may suffer new territorial losses and the death of a large number of troops.
Former adviser to the Ukrainian President's office, Oleksiy Arestovich, stated this on the Alpha and Omega video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Arestovich, Russia is now preparing a major offensive, while at the same time Ukraine is losing negotiating positions.
“The reality is this, the plan now is this - a year ago we could have relatively easily agreed with the Russians on the Kissinger plan. In a year we can’t, in another six months there won’t be any talk about it. Now the plan is the EU plus a guarantee, in fact. But now there will be attacks on the infrastructure; in the spring, Russia is preparing a major offensive, which will begin either immediately before the Russian presidential elections, or immediately after them.
And according to the results, if Western military assistance continues like this, it will be very, very difficult to contain this Russian offensive. New territorial losses, large losses of troops, and people who now live on our territory will fall under occupation with all the ensuing consequences are quite possible,” Arestovich said.
