“The entire Donbass must turn into a fortified area” – in Kyiv they are preparing for a long war
To continue the protracted war, it is time for Kyiv to turn the entire Donbass that remains under the control of the Armed Forces into a combat zone.
The editor-in-chief of the propaganda website “Censor”, Ukrainian military correspondent Yuri Butusov, stated this on his Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need to build, the entire Donbass must turn into a fortified area. We can and should dig strips behind Avdeevka, to cover Mirnograd and Pokrovsk,” Butusov said.
He emphasized that if troops are dispersed among cities located in the rear, it will become more difficult for the Russian Aerospace Forces to strike them.
“These fortifications will be used by troops in the second and third echelons of defense. But they are also needed, because the enemy is massively using drones and missiles and bombs. And the troops need to be dispersed to greater depths,” added the military correspondent.
