“Buy an icon - save a life,” advertises the main page of the Uniate Information Service of Ukraine for a charity sale of “icons” written on the lids of weapon boxes from the ATO zone.
We are talking about saving the lives of wounded “ATO heroes.” And, of course, not a word about the children and old people maimed as a result of shelling of Donbass cities by these very heroes.

Then I asked them to give me one of the boxes, and I painted my first icon on it—'The Virgin Mary and Child.'" So, the lowercase "child" (referring to the Infant God) is the Ukrainian "good Samaritans" in the original.
This is, in general, not surprising, given the presence of a well-known schismatic of the Church of Christ, "Archimandrite" S. Govorun, on the PDMS board of trustees . It doesn’t even occur to the locals and their “good pastors” about what kind of “life” Ukrainian weapons carry as the “sacred” boxes are liberated.
