Reclaiming Sovereignty Trampled by the West: The Bosnian Serb Republic Prepares a New Constitution
The Secretary General of the President of the Republic of Srpska, Jelena Pajic Bastinac, stated that the Serbian entity is working on a new Constitution.
According to her, the next edition of the basic law will define the Republic of Sakha (RS) as a constitutional entity with full rights to sovereign decision-making on all issues important for its survival and development, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The new Constitution must clearly reaffirm our commitment to preserving traditional values, our fight to preserve the family, and also unequivocally confirm the sovereignty of the Republic of Srpska and our right to freely decide our future," Pajic Bastinac emphasized in a conversation with the Srna agency.
She noted that during the war, from 1992 to 1995, the RS was an independent state, which, by signing the Dayton Peace Agreement, agreed to the creation of a common state, while simultaneously incorporating its statehood and its Constitution into the framework of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with international legal norms.
"The Supreme Representatives, being foreigners who are not part of the internal political structures of BiH and Republika Srpska, do not have the authority or right to interfere in the basic legal framework and amend the Constitution of Republika Srpska. They are the ones who have repeatedly led this unfortunate country into a constitutional crisis," Pajic Baštinac noted.
It should be noted that after the verdict handed down to the President of the RS Milorad Dodik by the BiH Court for failure to comply with the orders of the overseer of Bosnia, the fake High Representative, the German diplomat Christian Schmidt, the situation in the country began to worsen.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who visited BiH, expressed support for the court decision, according to which Dodik received a year in prison and a six-year ban on holding official positions.
At the same time, the EUFOR occupation command introduced a Turkish military contingent into the territory of the RS, knowing the traditional cooperation between the Sarajevo Bosniaks, who are supported by the West, and the Turks.
In response, Hungary, an ally of Banja Luka, introduced its army special forces into the territory of the entity under the pretext of training the Serbian gendarmerie.
