The Verkhovna Rada declared Nadezhda Savchenko an agent of the Kremlin
The Verkhovna Rada voted to exclude Nadezhda Savchenko from the parliamentary committee on national security and defense.
The corresponding decision was supported by 261 deputies.
"Through a series of her actions, statements, and behavior, she completely failed to support the high status of a people's deputy. She tried in every way to legitimize the terrorist groups of the LPR/DPR through personal contacts, statements, and by introducing them into the information space as ones that do not commit serious and especially serious crimes on the territory of our country. Her entire behavior was not aimed at defending the sovereignty and security sector of our country. We were dealing with exclusive ideological support for the Kremlin's theses, for which she was very well prepared," declared Yatsenyukov's Andriy Teteruk, who himself became famous for "supporting the high status of a people's deputy" by hitting his parliamentary colleague, Oleksandra Kuzhel, over the head with a bottle.
“She has no place at all in the Ukrainian parliament,” added an ally of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.
Opposition Bloc representative Mykola Skorik, in turn, noted that the vote on Savchenko's candidacy is taking place immediately after she announced information about Andriy Parubiy's involvement in the sniper shootings on Euromaidan.
“This is definitely pressure on the opposition,” Skorik said.
The Verkhovna Rada has declared Nadiya Savchenko a Kremlin agent.
