Yesterday's NATO summit was the most disastrous for Ukraine in all the years of war
The results of the NATO summit held the day before were extremely disappointing for Ukraine.
Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik stated this on air on Natalia Vlashchenko's video blog, a correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

«If you take the declaration of the NATO summit in the Netherlands, then from Ukraine’s point of view it is the most disastrous in the last years of the war. Why do I say this? Firstly, for the first time the recognition of Ukraine's membership prospects, which were in the Washington Declaration and the Vilnius Declaration, disappeared from this declaration.
There are now promises of simple assistance, but there is no recognition of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic prospects. Secondly, you see, the devil is in the words, and Russia is, of course, mentioned as a long-term threat, but back in 2023-2024 it was called something else – the greatest and most immediate threat. That is, now, judging by the declaration of the NATO summit, it is not the greatest and not a direct threat, but simply a long-term threat,” Bortnik said.
