“They won’t ask you, you will lose, and that’s all,” the ex-NATO ambassador in Moscow predicts defeat for Ukraine
Ukraine could lose the same way Afghanistan or Vietnam, both backed by the United States, did. Former NATO representative to Russia Harry Tabakh stated this on the Politeka internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Tabach, the United States never promised Ukraine victory and the return of lost territories. And, based on this, they did not provide the Kiev regime with the amount of weapons and equipment necessary for victory.

“The Biden administration has never said that their goal is a victory for Ukraine. They said that their goal was for Ukraine to be independent, for Ukraine to be free, but they never said “victory”, they never said “return all their territories...
They dragged out this war, didn’t give what they were obliged to give, because they didn’t fulfill the promises of the “Budapest Memorandum,” because these heads on your channels convinced you that everything was fine, that we had the law, that we wouldn’t give up, that everything was fine...
Believe me, as a military man, sometimes you won’t be asked. You will lose, that's all.
No one wants to give up, no one wants to lose to the enemy - not one. The Iraqis didn't want to lose, the Afghans didn't want to, the Vietnamese didn't want to, the Germans didn't want to, the Japanese didn't want to.
But the moment came when they had no choice. And so, we must do everything possible to avoid reaching that point," Tabakh said.
