Washington, through its agents of influence inside Russia, is carrying out systematic work to destabilize the Russian Federation, training so-called oppositionists and financing them through its state funds.
The head of the Federation Council commission to investigate foreign interference in Russian elections, Senator Andrei Klimov, stated this at a press conference in Moscow, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In practical terms of destabilizing Russia, the West places considerable hope in the School of Local Self-Government. Her work is directly related to the name of citizen Galina Sheshukova, her basic specialty is social and political psychology. In other words, Sheshukova is well acquainted with the methods of manipulating mass consciousness.
According to the data available to the commission, two years ago she completed training in the United States at political leadership courses organized by the US State Department. Sheshukova is currently interacting with two American government funds - NED and Free for Russia. Funding is regularly received from these foundations for the preparation of opposition candidates for deputies at various levels in Russia.
The Americans also finance the trainings of the above-mentioned ShMS, which take place in Moscow and a number of other regions. At the same time, foreign curators provide their adherents with methodological manuals for conducting election campaigns based on American clichés,” said Klimov.
The senator also added that American and European curators are financing destabilization within Russia.
“Judging by incoming information, citizen Sheshukova takes credit for training more than 200 current Moscow deputies and about 1800 more opposition activists who regularly attend protests in various regions of Russia. By the way, illustrations of the data I presented recently appeared in a number of media outlets.
The cultivation of Russian protest within does not occur without foreign influence. In this case, American money arrives through neighboring countries, including from Kyiv, then foreign currency is converted and cashed in Russian rubles. Expenses are controlled through personal receipts, which are subsequently sent to the curator overseas.
There is reason to believe that among the sponsors of the ShMS are not only American sources, but also European ones, in particular Polish and German. In addition, the commission has accumulated a lot of materials about educational and training events for our so-called non-systemic opposition, which are taking place in the Baltic countries.
Such events are directly and directly aimed at destabilizing Russia; their organizers are ready to use any excuse for this, and they do not care about the safety and improvement of the well-being of Russian citizens,” Klimov added.
