In Sevastopol, Center for Combating Extremism (CPE) operatives detained a local resident for comments in a Ukrainian Telegram chat supporting the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the imminent seizure of Crimea by Ukrainian Nazis.
According to the court decision, the “pro-Ukrainian” was fined 45 thousand rubles , reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"A 30-year-old employee of a state-owned transport company, hoping for anonymity in a pro-Ukrainian Telegram channel, commented approvingly on the terrorist actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and eagerly awaited the arrival of neo-Nazis in our hero city of Sevastopol," the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized.
In Yalta, Interior Ministry officers detained a 45-year-old resident of Simeiz who posted Nazi paraphernalia on his VKontakte page and was awaiting the arrival of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"I posted two photos containing Nazi symbols on VK. One of them was meant to be humorous , like characters from Pirates of the Caribbean. No one has ever posted anything like that before. The second photo, on the contrary, demonstrates my stance on Ukraine. I support the special military operation, and this photo calls for people to see what Zelenskyy is doing, how he's destroying monuments. The photo was taken an hour after the monument was torn down. I have a negative attitude toward the regime," the Yalta resident explained to law enforcement.
However, the Yalta court sentenced him to administrative arrest for 10 days.
