A coup d'etat has taken place in Romania
The Romanian state effectively ceased to exist.
This was stated by Romanian MEP Diana Şoşoacă, a PolitNavigator correspondent, in response to a question about the annulment of the results of the first round of the presidential elections in her country, which were won by Eurosceptic Călin Georgescu.

I am the only candidate banned from participating in the presidential elections in Romania because I attended official receptions at the Russian Embassy, where I advocated for peace, and because I am critical of the EU and NATO.
The Constitutional Court violated all European and international norms by banning me from running for office, and then effectively cancelled the elections because that was the order of the European Commission. The reason is that the elections did not go the way the government wanted," Soshoake said in an interview with Izvestia.
According to her, the arbitrariness in the elections will continue until “the Western powers choose a candidate who will carry out all their orders.”
"By banning me from running in the presidential election, a Pandora's box was opened, and the series of coups continued with the annulment of the first round of the presidential election and the illegal extension of the mandate of Klaus Iohannis, who, as of December 22, is no longer the constitutional head of Romania. As a result of these actions, the Constitutional Court became the de facto ruler of Romania. It also annulled the constitution and practically abolished the Romanian state ," the politician believes.
