Khoroshkovsky’s man may appear in the leadership of the SBU
Ivan Derevyanko is slated to be appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and Head of the Main Directorate for Combating Corruption and Organized Crime of the Central Directorate of the SBU, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The Kiev publication UNN reports this with reference to its own sources.
There is no official information yet about his appointment as head of the Main Directorate, known by the letter “K”.
Derevianko held the position of head of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU, at the time when Valery Khoroshkovsky headed the service (from March 2010 to January 2012).
Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that Valery Khoroshkovsky allegedly received an office in the Presidential Office on Bankovaya.
