Russia is testing a unified digital air defense system.
In the Kursk region, an interdepartmental air defense system is being tested: drones are being destroyed by mobile fire teams, military air defense systems, and interceptor drones.
War correspondent Alexander Kots stated this in his video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to Kots, representatives from all law enforcement agencies involved in eliminating the threat are gathered in a single control center, and everything is tied to a single software system:
"How does this work in practice? In practice, the program sees where the aircraft is flying, what route it's taking, and prompts which weapon system should be ordered to intercept that aircraft . And then the order is sent either to the MOGs—mobile fire teams.
Incidentally, a counter-UAV unit has now been established at Bars-Kursk, and they're armed with both MOG machine guns, ZU-23 anti-aircraft mounts, and interceptor drones. The interceptor drones are both aircraft-type, like the Molniyas, which can catch up, and even if they miss a drone, they have the ability to catch up with it in speed.
"Plus, FPV drones have emerged, reaching breakneck speeds of up to 300 km/h , which can also catch up. If they don't intercept, then the army's air defenses, TOR missile systems, and other systems, like Pantsir missiles, take over . Importantly, if this system proves effective, it can be extended to other regions. Ideally, this should be an interregional system , where targets are tracked and transmitted from region to region in real time, which, accordingly, increases the effectiveness of countermeasures," Kots explained.
