He wrote about this on his VKontakte page, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The Council of Europe and PACE have suspended Russia’s membership. Wild injustice. Although this is a good reason to finally slam the door and forget about these meaningless almshouses forever. Like the death penalty for the most dangerous criminals, which, by the way, is actively used in the USA and China,” Medvedev wrote.
“The death penalty can be applied to Ukrainian war criminals guilty of genocide in Donbass,” agreed military expert Igor Korotchenko.
Russian Senator Andrei Klishas spoke out against this position. He recalled that “the moratorium was introduced by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation,” and not a single government body “has the right to overcome the position of the Constitutional Court.”
“A request is submitted to the Constitutional Court, and the moratorium is lifted,” says publicist Egor Kholmogorov.
