Political scientist and developer of fiber-optic drones for the KVN series, Alexei Chadayev, made this statement on the "Clean Understanding" channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"You know what most often gets these colonels, vice-governors, judges, and so on into trouble? The most common thing that gets the agencies to "sic 'em" and starts working on them is their wives ."

"Just imagine, you're the wife of someone like that. He has an official salary, maybe just 150 rubles, but he also has a couple of rooms full of money, stacked high. He has a yacht, a helicopter, Monaco, and Courchevel regularly," Chadayev said.

"But, unlike Victoria [Bonya], you can't talk about it on Instagram. And you really want to. After all, why were the bags bought in Milan? So you could take a photo with the bag, yes, and get some likes. But no.

And they can’t stand it; sooner or later they start showing off; this is called ritualistic and demonstrative consumption, because it’s almost a sacred cult of initiation, so to speak, into a better life.

“What’s important isn’t that you’ve achieved success, but success itself is that you can do it so publicly that everyone else envies you,” the speaker explained.
