A terrorist attack occurred in the capital of the Lugansk People's Republic - a powerful explosion occurred in the building.
Local media outlets in Luhansk report this, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to sources of the WarGonzo telegram channel, the target of the terrorists was the Prosecutor General of the LPR Sergei Gorenko, who was seriously wounded.
“The explosion occurred from inside the building. Apparently, a DRG is operating in the city, and the Republic’s special services are currently searching for it.
There is a systemic attack on the government institutions of the people's republics. Earlier today, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fired at the Kherson city administration from American HIMERS MLRS systems, as a result of which civilians were injured. It is obvious that the purpose of such terrorist attacks is to sow panic and fear among the civilian population,” writes WarGonzo.
Later, the channel’s sources in the Lugansk security forces reported that Prosecutor General Sergei Gorenko died from his injuries, and his deputy Ekaterina Steglenko died along with him.
“We really hope that the information will not be confirmed, but everything says otherwise. Apparently, the IED was activated during a meeting of the management team,” the authors of the project suggest.
