Donetsk, August 31 (Navigator, Mikael Chagalyan) - In Donetsk, thanks to ongoing military operations and incessant artillery shelling, residents are already beginning to distinguish the nature and types of shells flying at houses.

And everyone already understood what a terrible danger these several kilograms of metal carried.
Only five shells fell on the territory of the Kievsky district of Donetsk, on a small area of the residential sector. Compared to what befalls Donetsk residents every day, this would seem to be not much. But, nevertheless, several people died from shrapnel wounds, a water supply was broken by shrapnel at a meter deep, and residents of two blocks were left without electricity. In several multi-storey buildings, windows were almost completely blown out and the facades of buildings were seriously damaged, and several people lost their garages in their courtyards.
But the saddest thing is the direct hits on private residential buildings. As you can see, the small wooden house where a family of pensioners lived was completely destroyed, one of the owners died. In the second house, a shell pierced the roof, but fortunately there were no casualties; the shell simply did not explode.
At the junction of the private sector and a block with multi-storey buildings there is a gas station. Only fragments and a blast wave reached here, but this was enough to actually disable it, causing significant damage.
Like many gas stations in the area, it has not been operating for a long time, and only thanks to this it was possible to avoid much more tragic consequences than crumpled plastic and broken windows.
