Kyiv, September 02 (PolitNavigator, Mikhail Ryabov) – Today’s counter-offensive of the pro-Russian militia in the Donbass is the result of window dressing before Independence Day, when Ukrainian security forces tried to report every day about the raising of the yellow-blue flag over the next populated area.
This was acknowledged in his speech at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by ex-speaker Vladimir Lytvyn, who now heads the Committee on National Security and Defense.
“We spent all our reserves and resources, and laid down the lives of hundreds and thousands of people,” he admitted.

Lytvyn called for an immediate closed meeting of the Verkhovna Rada to hear the ATO report there.
