The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is preparing a bill, submitted by a group of deputies from different factions, providing for harsh punishment for cybercrime.

The Ukrainian publication Vesti reports this .
“The first time a hacker can get from 5 to 10 years in prison, the second time he risks 7-12 years. If an “act of cyberterrorism” results in injury or death, the proposed sentence ranges from 10 years to life in prison. Confiscation of property is provided. The Rada says: the bill has a great chance of being voted on,” the publication says.
The Rada has gotten to the bottom of "cyberterrorists." They're proposing life sentences.
