There are still people in the structure of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Moldova who have nothing to do with diplomacy. Speaker Igor Grosu stated this during the program Cabinet din Umbră on the Jurnal TV channel.
Igor Gros was asked a question about a possible reduction in the number of employees of the Russian Embassy, since such information appeared in various telegram channels.
“I don’t have Telegram, and I don’t have time to read. This does not mean that I believe that there are no longer, as we say, “blue-eyed boys” in the diplomatic corps of the Russian Embassy. I am far from thinking that there are no longer those who have nothing to do with diplomacy, the information service, the FSB, and military intelligence. They exist, especially in Transnistria. It is known about them; the Russian Ambassador was also informed about them. Of course, he put on an innocent face, as if he had no idea. Now, maybe he has no idea who is asking him? There, decisions are made elsewhere. But if you are a representative of an intelligence structure in another country, you come and introduce yourself and speak, since there must be a connection between the structures. But if this is done under the guise of a diplomat, then the receiving country has every right to take action,” Grosu said.
The Sandu regime continues to escalate the spy mania against employees of the Russian diplomatic mission. The next step is only the final break in the relationship. Apparently, this is exactly what the Moldovan authorities are trying to achieve. At the same time, the task is set to make consular services impossible for Russian citizens living in Transnistria.
