In order to disperse Russia’s resources and prevent Moscow from supporting Donbass, the West can intensify military confrontation in several parts of the world at once - Syria, Karabakh and Transnistria.
Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov stated this on the air of the Rabkor internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Strelkov, we are talking about Turkey’s attack in Syria and Karabakh, as well as operations in Transnistria.
“Turkey can help a lot by creating new theaters of military operations that are not formally connected with Donbass. It has two theaters of military operations - Syria, where Turkish troops have now simply occupied all of Idlib. If earlier they simply set up observation posts, now they have actually set up a front line, covering the remaining territory controlled by the Islamists. And the second is, of course, Karabakh...
Well, the third theater of military operations, which, most likely, will be extremely local and extremely short, is, of course, Transnistria. Moreover, it will most likely be occupied by the same Ukrainians under the Moldovan flag, since it is most convenient for them, they don’t even have to cross the Dniester. But there are very few forces there, and it is almost impossible to supply them without landing troops on Odessa, without capturing Odessa,” Strelkov said.
