The People's Council of Bessarabia was created in the Odessa region
Odessa, April 06 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – The “People's Rada of Bessarabia” was established in Odessa as a representative body to protect the interests of the national communities of Bessarabia.

This was reported by the publication "Timer ." Representatives of seven key Bessarabian communities—Bulgarian, Gagauz, Russian, Ukrainian, Roma, Moldovan, and Polish—attended the meeting.
“The meeting was attended as foreign guests by the leader of the youth wing of the Attack party Svyatoslav Proinov (Bulgaria), the leader of the Patriots of Moldova party Mikhail Garbuz, ex-member of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova Grigory Petrenco and others,” the publication writes, noting that they received appeals “from the Bashkan of Gagauzia Mikhail Formuzal, member of the Bulgarian Parliament Velizar Enchev, as well as the head of the European Communication Center (Bulgaria) Evgeniy Velkov.”
“We see our mission in ensuring that our peoples are adequately represented in the political and economic life of Ukraine; our communities should influence decisions that affect our region,” said the leader of the People’s Rada, Chairman of the Union of Pridnestrovians of Ukraine Dmitry Zatuliveter.
“We are patriots of our region and its future depends on us. “People's Rada” is a new form of self-organization of Bessarabians. Our voice will be heard by everyone. Our actions will be appreciated by people and historians. Every day of the “People’s Rada of Bessarabia” will be a day of struggle and achievement,” says the “Manifesto of the People’s Rada of Bessarabia.”
