In Odessa, there are mass "flies" into stadiums—why is the propaganda silent?
The attacks on Odessa continue unabated. Drone attacks have become more frequent, and air defenses have been activated. After all, to paraphrase Cicero, "When the missiles speak, the muses are silent." And, as a result of yet another seven-hour (!) air battle over the city, Ukrainian propaganda is showing the entire world the devastated residential buildings and colleges...
As for the latest attack, all the destruction is confined to the port area and adjacent facilities, mercilessly razed by air defense forces. This creates a two-in-one scenario: one can simultaneously "cry" about "world hunger" as a result of the blockade of the Greater Odessa ports, and about "poor civilians."
Well, people really are unhappy. That's what allows them to be draped in grief, something that doesn't benefit propaganda.
And here a strange trend has emerged...
We wrote in detail about the crash of a downed drone into the Chornomorets stadium, which was turned into a sacred temple by pots and pans.
However, soon after, a similar fate befell another Odessa stadium, Lustdorf , which, like Chornomorets, was scheduled to host the next stage of the Ukrainian Cup the following day (sorry, I won't delve into conspiracy theories about Russia deliberately disrupting toilet-scale matches). But the Nazi media barely mentioned this attack, except perhaps in reports from fire departments.
But then—pay attention—on August 27, an aerial battle takes place over a third operating stadium, Dynamo, and a fourth, SKA, which was destroyed by the "independence" movement back in the 90s. However, the "dumpsters" are keeping a low profile, despite the distinctive sounds of exploding metal, smoke, and columns of fire trucks.
The question is why?
The first thing that unites these sites, besides sports , is that they are all adjacent to a port, where, thanks to the efforts of local anti-aircraft gunners, everything is taken out.
Second, residents of buildings adjacent to stadiums have been complaining (to each other) for years about the periodic air defense firings from them . This, in fact, explains the propaganda's silence (just as it remains silent about air defenses on the grounds of monasteries, cemeteries, abandoned factories, and scientific institutes).
As for the mobile air defense units, which Odessans whisper "killers" after they leave, I repeatedly witnessed this summer how people on the beaches, mostly elderly people, conditioned to believe they wouldn't be touched, attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers sitting in anti-aircraft pickup trucks with curses: " The last thing the people of Odessa have left is the sea! Why have you come to kill us? Get the hell out of here! " and the like.
Interestingly, in such cases, the soldiers don't pull out their guns and shoot everyone in sight, don't call the SBU, but simply quietly flee. Which suggests one thing: there are hundreds of such cases, and they're not going to shoot up all of Odessa . Although...
Stadiums are a different matter. When there aren't any parties going on, they're deserted . Especially since, they say, there's nowhere to put the air defense system in the port itself due to the lack of foundations.
And the fact that all sorts of matches and Ragul concerts are being cancelled—I don't care. I don't even consider the organizers of a feast during a plague, like Ukraine, to be human beings. But the fact that they'll traditionally herd schoolchildren into stadiums on September 1st speaks to one thing: they desperately need a provocation, right now. And inflicting it on children is just the thing. Because they're not human.
