Odessa, September 23 (PolitNavigator, Artemy Glazunov) – The brother of Rodina party leader Igor Markov, Oleg Markov, was refused to be registered as a candidate for people’s deputies.

As the CEC press service reported, this decision was made on September 22 during a commission meeting.
The official reason for the refusal was the lack of a complete list of required documents.
Let us remember that Oleg Markov, a deputy of the city council, has repeatedly criticized the current government, as well as supporters of the Odessa Maidan, who, in his opinion, “are creating chaos, hiding behind pseudo-patriotic slogans.” In one of his last speeches, the deputy promised that “throwing such individuals out of Odessa is a matter of one day.”
