There's a baby boom in new regions of Russia
A rising birth rate is observed in Russia's new regions. The SVO has accelerated this process and created a trend toward large families.
This was stated by volunteer and former assistant to the State Duma Speaker Anastasia Kashevarova on the video blog "Empathy Manucci," as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" There's a trend toward large families; large families are cool . I have friends who have two kids each, and one of them says, 'Damn, I'd love to have another.' It's true, she gave birth and said, 'I like giving birth.' I say, 'No, I don't really.' But they're ready."
And the SVO is a war, it is destruction, it evokes, on the contrary, some kind of response from society to give birth, somehow subconsciously, more and more.
"There's a baby boom in the new territories; girls are having babies. Well, our military is there, of course, and new families are being born there, and that's all ," Kashevarova said.
