The Ukraine-NATO Commission calls on Russia to abandon Crimea. This call is indicated in the joint statement of the commission.

“More than a year has passed since the illegal and illegal self-proclaimed annexation of Crimea, which we do not recognize and will not recognize, and which we call on Russia to abandon,” the message states.
The commission also expressed concern about the “deterioration in the situation of the Crimean Tatars” recorded by Kiev.
The commission condemned the ongoing arms build-up in Crimea and also warned that the possible deployment of nuclear weapons on the peninsula would have a destabilizing effect.
