Experts, including heads of expert institutions (VTsIOM, Financial University, Plekhanov Russian Economic University, RANEPA, CRRP, IGSO, etc.), development corporations, political scientists, sociologists, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs will discuss the main problem areas that have arisen in connection with the need for development potential of the Siberian Federal District and Far Eastern Federal District.

According to the “Power Rating” compiled by the Center for Regional Policy Development, the leaders in the Siberian Federal District are the Irkutsk, Novosibirsk regions and Krasnoyarsk Territory.

These regions have developed their own development projects aimed at increasing economic well-being, tourist attractiveness and creating jobs.

“These projects divide the Siberian Federal District into three main zones of influence, each of which is based on its own economic principles.

If Sergei Levchenko’s model is more “left-wing”, with its feet in the late Soviet Union and taking the USSR State Planning Commission system as a basis, then Alexander Uss’s project emphasizes market investments. The creation of a conurbation under the unspoken leadership of Novosibirsk does imply a composite model, implementing part of the infrastructure projects necessary for the development of the digital economy at the expense of the state budget, but at the same time relying on the Soviet model of science development - the “Akademgorodok 2.0” project,” says the “Rating”.
