The leader of the “Essence of Time” movement, Sergei Kurginyan, stated this on the Russia-1 TV channel.
“What happens if you cross European values with Bandera? Kovtun. If his grandfather, who fought in the Red Army, had heard what he was saying, he would have beaten him with a hook. But if some relative of his, connected with Bandera, heard what he was saying, it would be the same. These are incompatible things. If Konovalets saw a transgender person walking through the territory under his control, I can imagine what he would do. I see a picture of two grandfathers on both sides doing this with two hooks,” said Kurginyan.
As a result, he believes, the Ukrainian elite poses a danger to their country, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A hybrid elite is emerging that eats itself. In essence, this is schizophrenia. This process is unsafe,” Kurginyan said.
