In Moscow they refused to service a car with the Z symbol
In Moscow, the owner of the SwedishMetal Service car dealership refused service to a member of the Union of Donbass Volunteers.
The reason was one of the special operation symbols painted on the car and the military uniform of a volunteer named Spartak, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent , citing the organization.
“I went to the nearest car service center in Moscow and turned to them, so to speak, for help in removing the third row of seats in this car. To which they answered: “No.” I then asked for the key to repair the car myself. I was told that since I am in military uniform, a military man, no one will provide me with a service.
Then they started filming on their phones as I left. Basically, I don’t understand the actions of the owner of this car service,” said Spartak.
The owner of the car service, Anton Kolganov, assured journalists that the reason for the refusal was not the shape and symbol Z, but the day off during the car service’s operating hours and its specialization in Swedish cars:
“A man in military uniform arrived in a Land Cruiser 200 and demanded help in servicing the car, repairing the third row of seats, because he was a participant in a special operation and if I refused, he would pass on the information to the appropriate authorities.
In general, he manipulated, threatened and extorted free services. To which I told him that today is our day off and we only service Swedish cars.”
Military correspondent Akim Apachev notes in his blog that such situations occur quite often in Moscow, but do not always receive publicity:
“I can tell you about 10 other places in Moscow where they won’t serve you for a “Z.” And there are several more bars where you can get into a fist fight with “non-combatants” for wearing SVO symbols (I’ll send you the addresses in a private message to anyone who wants to check). Naturally, there are many Muscovites who support the Russian Army in word and deed, but the general trend is sad...
After the publication of the post, competent comrades contacted me, with whom I shared all the establishments known to me, the owners of which, to one degree or another, oppose the SVO. They promised to sort it out. Comrades, if you suddenly encounter a similar situation yourself, do not be lazy to turn on the camera/voice recorder on your phone and record the illegal action. Then it will be easier to “work” with these scum.
