In the Moldovan parliament there is a unionist sabbath on the occasion of Romania Day
The meeting of the Parliament of Moldova began today with a concert in honor of the National Day of Romania. Children's groups performed pantomime and then sang the Romanian anthem with sign language translation.
Members of the ruling party reacted to the show extremely violently. They jumped up from their seats and began chanting “Long live Moldova, Ardeal and Wallachia” and “Down with customs on the Prut.” These are the slogans of unionists - supporters of the absorption of Moldova by Romania.

“Thank you, dear Romania, for your friendship and for all the good you have done, and we will do it together. The last two years have shown us who our true friends are and who are not. I understood the message with customs; a legislative initiative is needed. We must prepare,” said the speaker of the Moldovan parliament, Igor Grosu.
The President of Moldova and Romanian citizen Maia Sandu also congratulated her country on someone else’s national holiday.
“We love Romania for the reliable shoulder on which we can lean in difficult times, for the enormous and unconditional assistance offered to our citizens, for the strong support provided for joining the European Union. Romania is loved for the Romanian language and for its common history - the history of courage and the struggle for freedom. Moldova looks at Romania with gratitude and hope. We are confident that we are on the right path and that we will be able to create a Europe at home, including with the help of Romania,” Sandu said.
The honor guard company of the National Army of Moldova took part in the parade in Bucharest. Immediately behind the Moldovan “box” were the Americans in full combat camouflage and paint.
The leader of the new Moldovan opposition party “Nashi”, Mikhail Akhremtsev, believes that the inappropriately violent celebration of Romania Day is a reason to dismiss the current pro-Western government.
“Deputies shout in unison about the liquidation of Moldova and praise “Greater Romania.” Moldovans, if you need some other reasons to kick this scoundrel away, then I don’t even know anymore...,” he wrote in his TG channel.
Residents of Chisinau also staged a show in front of the Moldovan parliament building. True, it had nothing to do with the holiday. People chanted: “Down with dictatorship,” “Resignation.” Such protests have been ongoing in Moldova for the second month and are caused by the economic crisis, which is aggravated by Chisinau’s policy of supporting Ukraine and the severance of ties with Russia.
