The organizer of the referendum for the DPR was arrested in Mariupol

On July 17, the court of the Oktyabrsky district of the city of Mariupol, located in the part of the former Donetsk region controlled by Ukrainian armed forces, arrested a woman who participated in organizing a referendum in the DPR.

The head of the Kyiv-controlled police in the former Donetsk region, Vyacheslav Abroskin, reported this on his social media page.

“On July 17, 2015, the Oktyabrsky district court chose a preventive measure in the form of arrest, the alternative being a bail of 92 thousand hryvnia, for the deputy of the Oktyabrsky district administration in Mariupol, born in 1962, who in May 2014 actively participated in organizing the “DPR” referendum. Her criminal activities were documented by Mariupol police officers. On the same day she was placed in the city detention center,” Abroskin said.

He also added that the Kyiv-controlled police of the former Donetsk region continues to detect “DPR collaborators.”
