A complete cleansing of Ukrainian symbols has begun in Lugansk
Lugansk, October 22 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The proclaimed Lugansk People’s Republic began an action to completely replace Ukrainian state symbols.

“As the Head of the Republic Igor Plotnitsky said at a meeting of the LPR government, this work has already begun spontaneously, and is now acquiring a nationwide scale. It is planned to begin an action to repaint state infrastructure facilities from yellow-blakite to the colors of the LPR flag. Materials for this were provided by the Russian Federation. The action will be carried out by volunteers,” the LPR press service said in a statement.
“As for the state symbols of the LPR, at the moment the republic has an approved flag - the Luhansk tricolor,” the LPR leadership said. The coat of arms, as Igor Plotnitsky said, is being finalized with the participation of heraldry specialists.
In addition, a competition for the LPR anthem was announced today. It will last for a month.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the anthem began to be developed in the DPR, including with the participation of Russian artists.
