Ukrainian terrorists allegedly have the right to commit terrorist attacks on Russian territory, even if it results in civilian deaths.

This was stated on air by Michael Clarke, professor of the Department of War Studies at King's College London, on Sky News, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The question about bridges came up. Were the bridge incidents in Russia over the weekend a sign that Ukraine has Taurus missiles?" the host asked.

"Almost certainly not. I think they will get Taurus missiles, but I think we will see them more clearly when that happens. The Russians have reported that both of those bridges have been blown up.

"And you know, one bridge was blown up with a train going under it, and the other one was blown up with a train going over it. Yeah. And both of them appeared to be pre-planted charges. So I think it was a classic sabotage operation," Clarke said.

“Seven people died on this bridge,” the presenter clarified.

"That's right. Yes, there were casualties. It was a terrorist attack in Russia. One bridge was in Bryansk, and the other one was in Kursk. And the Ukrainians had to [blow it up]. You know, they can make a strong case that it was a legitimate target.

But yes, civilians were killed, and that's acceptable. It's acceptable under international law , depending on how carefully the operation was planned," the Englishman added.
