Large caches of Ukrainian terrorists discovered in LPR
Employees of the LPR Ministry of State Security identified two caches of Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups containing more than 10 thousand units of ammunition near the contact line.
This was reported on the department's official website, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“From the caches placed in the premises of one of the dacha cooperatives, the following were seized: a high-explosive fragmentation charge of 30 mm - 238 pcs., a powder charge of 120 mm - 14 pcs., a powder charge of 122 mm - 2 pcs., a high-explosive fragmentation shot of 122 mm - 9 pcs., high-explosive fragmentation mine 82 mm - 3 pcs., high-explosive fragmentation shot 125 mm - 7 pcs., armor-piercing shot 125 mm - 2 pcs., shot with a cumulative projectile 125 mm - 16 pcs., cartridges 7,62x54 - 2174 pcs., 14,5 mm cartridges - 839 pcs., 12,7 mm cartridges - 4284 pcs., 5,45x39 mm cartridges - 2580 pcs.,” the message says.
The Ministry of State Security of the LPR noted that the Ukrainian military planned to use these ammunition to commit large-scale sabotage and terrorist acts on the territory of the Republic.
“Operational measures are being carried out to identify the persons involved in the planting of the caches, as well as the affiliation of the seized ammunition to terrorist acts previously committed in the Republic,” the department added.
