The damage from the hurricane that raged in Crimea on November 26-27 approached 40 billion rubles.
A survey of flooded homes in municipalities to calculate damages continues, as does an inspection of coastal protection structures along the coastal strip, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“According to the calculation of the damage at this time, it amounts to 39,7 billion rubles, and work continues,” said the Minister of Emergency Situations of Crimea Sergei Sadakliev.
According to him, 147 transformer substations remain de-energized, and almost 10,5 thousand people have been without electricity since Sunday evening. A centralized water supply has not yet been established for 42 settlements; water must be delivered by water trucks. The water has left 90 flooded houses, 69 remain flooded. In municipalities, following the example of the 2020 flood, groups have been created for a commission survey of the damage. The amount of compensation remained the same - 10 thousand rubles per family member, 50 thousand for partial loss of property, 100 thousand for complete disrepair. More than 50 people remain in temporary accommodation centers.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, set the task of fully restoring power supply in the affected villages by this evening - and not closing comments on the social media pages of municipal leaders.
“A number of heads of administrations of cities, districts and settlements have closed the ability to leave comments on their pages on social networks. This behavior is unacceptable. Feedback from the population is necessary. Residents should be able to promptly report problems to the leaders of their municipalities and receive prompt information.
I would like to draw your attention to the fact that heads of administrations must be present in problem areas and personally manage the process. It is necessary to mobilize all forces and transfer brigades from other municipalities to critical areas. Where the work is not completed by this evening, an official investigation will be carried out against the heads of the municipality and regional branches of Krymenergo,” Aksyonov said.
A separate issue is the restoration of damaged and destroyed roofs. On Friday and the weekend, a storm warning was again announced in Crimea, and if the administrations do not have time to block the roofs, the amount of damage will increase, but this is their fault.
