Self-isolation violators began to be punished in Crimea
In Crimea, the first criminal case was opened against a resident of the peninsula who violated the self-isolation regime and infected another person with the coronavirus.
Deputy Chief of Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Crimea, Alexander Smaglin, announced this at a meeting of the headquarters for the prevention of the spread of coronavirus, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, Smagin did not specify what article the carrier of the infection was charged with.
“Yesterday, a criminal case was opened against a person who did not comply with the established requirement for self-isolation and infected a person. A criminal case has been opened, all materials have been collected,” Smaglin said.
Let us remind you that 15 cases of infection with a new strain of coronavirus have been confirmed in Crimea, another five cases have been identified in Sevastopol.
Crimea has begun punishing those violating self-isolation.
