The last stage of the Tavrida highway is being completed in Crimea
In Crimea, the last stage of the Tavrida highway is being completed, which involves the construction of a large interchange on the Yalta ring near Sevastopol and the extension of the expressway itself to it. Completion of work is scheduled for November 2023. The total cost of the eighth stage is more than 19 billion rubles.
Road workers are currently preparing the site and constructing bypass roads, and in just three months they will begin construction of a modern interchange, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

According to the director of the Sevastopol Department of Transport, Pavel Ieno, the project includes a two-level traffic interchange with a roundabout and two tunnel overpasses on the Yalta ring.
“Six junctions will be built on one level, which will provide transport access to places of residence. In addition, at the transport interchange there will be two stops for public transport with the arrangement of drive-in pockets and stopping pavilions. Also, for the safety of pedestrians, pedestrian paths will be equipped, which will be separated from the road by soundproofing screens...
On the Yalta ring we have a cultural heritage site - this is a monument to the hussars of the Kyiv regiment. The project provides for the arrangement of a parking lot for 17 cars in the area of this monument, the arrangement of a flight of stairs and an approach to this monument,” Ieno told reporters.
