Krivoy Rog, February 03 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – In the Krivoy Rog city hall building, where radical activists have been staying for six days, local military commissars unexpectedly set up an on-site information and mobilization point.

“Our point is conducting explanatory work on the principles of the fourth wave of mobilization. We tell you who is subject to mobilization and who is not. We will send everyone who wants to take part in the ATO to the military registration and enlistment offices at their place of residence to undergo a medical examination. Every day, employees of various military registration and enlistment offices of the city will conduct explanatory work here,” says the Krivoy Rog central city military registration and enlistment office.
In turn, the head of the organization “Union of Citizens of Krivoy Rog” Vladislav Stefan claims that in this way the authorities are trying to intimidate activists.
“They are not given stories, only volunteers are signed up. But the very presence of military commissars is a moment of psychological impact. We made a statement that we would sign up as volunteers only after the deputies did so,” said Vladislav Stefan, as quoted by the Vesti publication.
As PolitNavigator reported, Maidan activists seized the mayor's office last week. After the president did not respond to their appeals, they went on a hunger strike, demanding the resignation of the mayor of the city, Yuri Vilkul.
