Abuse of Serbs continues in Kosovo
The separatist "authorities" in Kosovo have issued invoices to the Serb owners of their dachas demolished at Lake Gazivode. In effect, they are demanding that citizens pay sums of up to 2 euros for the destruction of their own property.
As PolitNavigator previously reported , 16 summer cottages and one house belonging to Serbs were demolished in three stages on the Gazivode coast over the past few weeks. The Kosovo water company, Ibar-Lepenac, unilaterally declared the coastal area its own. The Serbs deprived of their property were not even allowed to challenge this decision in the courts.
"The property inside the houses was taken away to an unknown location," lawyer Dragutin Nenezic commented on the separatists' lawlessness.
The Jezero Hotel was also demolished , despite a hearing scheduled in the "Kosovo courts" for August 12. Aleksandar Jakšić, the hotel owner's son, told Serbian media that the hotel on the shore was built on the grounds of his great-grandfather's estate, and that the family invested 800 euros in the property between 2003 and 2008.
Recently, the so-called "Prime Minister" of Kosovo, Albin Kurti , visited the dam in Gazivod and stated that the authorities are clearing the shore of buildings, allegedly in the interests of the environment:
“In these challenging times of climate change, when droughts are becoming more frequent and unpredictable, the value of Gazivode only increases.”
But this is only in words, while in reality the Albanian regime in Kosovo is doing everything possible to ensure that the remaining Serbian population leaves this region.
