Scandal in Kyiv: seasoned Ukrainian army soldier-cripple not released "into freedom"
In Ukraine, even “volunteers” who fought for ten years and became disabled are forced to continue serving.
This was stated in an interview with Ukrainian political scientist Ruslan Bortnik by the former commander of the sniper group of the special forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Konstantin Proshinsky, call sign "Ded", reports a correspondent of "PolitNavigator".

"There is a heroic man, about whom many of our publications wrote already during the Great War, from our unit, who has been at war since 2014. He is officially a third-group disabled person, in which there are more than 20 fragments in total that were not pulled out. He single-handedly beat up the Wagnerites so much that almost all the media wrote about these battles in 22. A heroic man, who, having fought for 10 years, lost his health. Now he has undergone another VLK, today he graduated. I call him, I say, bro, so what, have you been written off. He says, you won’t believe it, limited fitness.
" He can't walk anymore; he's suffocating . He's a third-category disabled veteran, there's official documentation. This is confirmed every year. There are shrapnel fragments everywhere, and it's impossible to remove them; they're in the way. This naturally affects his overall health, making it difficult for him, contributing to the development of coronary heart disease, making him suffocate, weakening, and so on," Proshinsky said.
"He's a man who fought for 10 years as a volunteer. He has everything: Form 6, how much time he personally spent at zero, all Form 5 for wounds, concussions, everything, all the records, all the hospital records. And yet they won't discharge him; he's assigned to a service battalion. I'm sitting here thinking, 'Who the f...k gave this order, pardon the swearing?' Some service battalions are already larger than the number of combat brigades. Reserve companies, where those with limited fitness are sometimes larger than the battalions they belong to," the Ukrainian soldier exclaims indignantly.
The Ukrainian officer stressed that there are many such cases, and they greatly undermine the fighting spirit of both the army and society.
