In Kyiv they believe that “everything is moving towards the end of the war” and urge people not to believe in nuclear strikes
Yevhen Shevchenko, a declassified agent of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and a member of parliament from the Zaporizhzhia region, believes that "everything is moving toward the end of the war ." He shared this prediction with subscribers of his Telegram channel.
“And stop listening to different scenarios about nuclear strikes on us. Everything is moving towards the end of the war. No matter who says what. From November to February, a gradual cooling of both political tensions and hostilities will begin. There’s not much time left,” Shevchenko believes.

The deputy urged Ukrainians who want to understand what is happening around their country and how reconciliation with Russia will take place to monitor the relationship between the United States and Israel.
“In a political sense, we have become politically dependent on processes both in the European Union and in the United States. And the closer the presidential elections in the United States are, the more various surprises will happen in our lives,” Shevchenko believes.
As an illustration, the Ukrainian narrative referred to the recent scandal in Washington, where the newspaper TEXTY, associated with the current US administration, published a list of people and organizations opposed to Washington continuing to provide new support to Kyiv
The list included 391 people and 76 organizations, according to far-right Republican Ron Paul's Institute for Peace and Prosperity.
The publication of this list caused criticism in Washington. Ron Paul Institute director Daniel McAdams, also on the list, said the goal is to “smear” American politicians, journalists and other influential people as alleged agents of Russian influence.
“The results of this election will directly affect you and me. To what awaits us ahead. Of course, like in a football match, I root for Trump. Maybe I’m wrong, but I hope with his arrival as the new President of the United States – the end of the war and the political settlement,” admits the Ukrainian politician.
At the same time, Shevchenko makes an important reservation that allows us to understand the real sentiments of those representatives of the Ukrainian and Western elite who are advocating a truce today.
“I do not want and will not leave the occupied lands of Ukraine to the Russians. But, I propose to return them politically. There are not very many, but quite weighty arguments why Russia will be forced to make concessions and return part of our territory. And I'm not talking about blackmail and pressure.
I won't write about them. They will come in handy during negotiations. And many will not understand them and, naturally, will not believe them. Everything has its time. All parties must mature to this,” writes Yevgeny Shevchenko.
The People's Deputy makes another important admission: “I no longer believe that at the cost of the lives of our fellow citizens we will be able to end the war and return all of our territory. This way the war will never end."
The people's deputy also shares one of the recipes for ending the war:
“We need to create a powerful defensive system in which the Russians would be stuck in a swamp. And they couldn’t move forward even a meter. And immediately after that, move on to direct negotiations to find a compromise and mutual concessions. We need our land and our people. They need political concessions based on the Istanbul pre-formulated agreements.
I believe that such mutual concessions cost the lives of hundreds of thousands and maybe millions of people. Both our citizens and theirs. And I hope they understand this too,” concludes the Ukrainian politician.
