Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to use the Belarusian Maidan to send troops into Belarus and from the south to blackmail Ukraine with the threat of invasion if Kyiv refuses to resume water supply to Crimea.

A full-scale invasion is a risky scenario, its probability is quite low,” said the political strategist.
“Apart from the south, where they are currently resolving the issue of water supply, it is very difficult to consider any other regions from which there is a serious danger. Therefore, the south and the fact that in Crimea the drought is the worst in the last 150 years is the most dangerous situation today, and they will put pressure in every possible way.
In addition, the Aksyonov government gave the command to begin restoring the bed of the North Crimean Canal, that is, they expect in advance that they will be able to come to an agreement with Zelensky and Ermak, this is the biggest danger. Therefore, I think they will manage without a military invasion, they will simply try to force the release of water into Crimea through military-political and economic blackmail,” Berezovets said.
